Renting a Limo can be a fun experience, to say the least. The luxury this car offers is unparalleled. The most noticeable thing about Limos and the reason why they are so popular for special occasions is because of its length. The long length of Limos is enough to attract attention and make you feel like a superstar.

Limos are perfect to make a special occasion extra special. Since few people can afford to purchase them, they are available for rent. People hire them for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, bachelor parties, prom nights or just to make themselves feel like a million bucks. If you are planning to call up a Limo rental and hire one, knowing the hourly Limo price will help you.

There are many factors that decide Limousine prices for hire. There are no fixed charges and different Limo rental agencies are known to have different prices. But usually the following few factors are the most important ones.

  • The type of Limo being hired: This is perhaps the most important factor that decides hourly Limo prices. Agencies which have Limos which are up – to – date will have higher rentals and those with old models will charge you lower. A standard Lincoln Limo will cost you less than Chrysler Limo or a Cadillac. The year the Limo is dated will also determine Limousine prices. You will be paying lesser for older Limos.
  • Number of passengers it sits: This is another factor that determines how much Limo rental agencies charge. Limousines come from passenger seats that hold 8 passengers to the minimum to up to 50 passengers. Obviously the bigger the capacity of a Limo, the higher the rate will be.
  • Number of hours it is hired for: Limousine prices depend on the hours of rental. Agencies usually give them for hire for at least 3 hours at the minimum. A motor coach will require at least 4 hours to be available for rent. First decide on the number of hours you will need the Limo for before you call up the Limo rental agency.
  • Seasonal factor: The season you want to hire will be an important factor to determine Limousine prices. For a weekday, Limo rentals will cost lower than for weekends. During prom season, hourly Limo prices go up as well as the minimum hours you have to hire one.
  • The Event: The event you want a Limo for also determines the prices. A birthday may be cheaper than a wedding for the simple reason that weddings will need more Limos and more hours than a birthday party which will typically be for an hour.
  • Mileage: If you pick up guests from different locations on the Limo, it will cost you more than when you use it to just pick up and drop you from one location to another. The bar and tips are other things that may add up to make the hourly Limo prices.

As rule of thumb you can expect your limousine rental to cost you anywhere from $75 per hour all the way up to $500 per hours depending on the type of limo rented.  However, most limos can be rented for $100-150 per hour.
